In 1972 Mike appeared in a production of Maxim Gorky's "The Lower Depths" at the Aldwych, directed by David Jones . The press night was on the 29th of June 1972. The play was translated by Kitty Blair and Jeremy Brooks. Tazeena Firth and Timothy O'Brien were the costume designers. Timothy O'Brien was the designer and Stewart Leviton the light designer.
