Tim Woolgar - Beauty and the Beast

"Hi Just come across your site. I worked with Mike in the first Chipping Norton Christmas play which was a fund raiser to help buy the Salvation Army Hall in Chippy to turn it into a theatre. The production was Beauty and the Beast by Nicholas Stuart Grey - who also directed it. Mike was a wizard and I played his nephew - a baby dragon. This was back in 1972-ish so the memory is a bit hazy about the other cast members, but I remember Mike as being kind and helpful to a youngster like myself. There were a lot of laughs and fun. A great time and great introduction to the business for me. Thanks for the site and evoking some great memories."

"Stumbled upon the Mike Pratt site quite by accident - had no idea there was one devoted to him, but it's great that someone is keeping his memory alive. I wrote a fan letter to to Mike years ago because I was a big fan of R&H(D) - he wrote me a nice letter back and enclosed the attached autographed photo. He was obviously in The Brothers by this time, so he must have written me not long before he passed away. Think I may have lost his letter during the many moves I have made over the years. As for Mike's "Orra' bes', Colin", no prizes for guessing that's because I'm Scottish. Originally from Edinburgh, I've been living in Seattle for the past 17 years."

"I grew up watching Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) and still a big fan of the series. I bought the DVD collection and now, my 10 year old daughter is a huge fan. It's a shame that Mike Pratt is no longer with us, but his memories lives on."
