Digger - Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)
"I absolutely loved Randall and Hopkirk when I were a lad. If I remember rightly, at some stage during the 70s it was shown on a Sunday night, and it always used to lift me up from a deep state of depression thinking about school the next morning. Great bit of nostalgia - and Mike Pratt drove a really nice Vauxhall Victor as well (my Dad had one just the same as his). Ah....the 70's (yes, I know it was made in the 60s, but that's when I first saw it)! (which reminds me, Life on Mars should be on again soon shouldn't it!"

Mr Trimble - Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)
"Now, we're talking about a classic series here! I have all seven of the original Carlton DVD's, although Network are apparently due to be re-releasing the entire series as a box set. I still think that my favourite episode has to be "A Disturbing Case", where Jeff is sent by Marty's widow Jeannie to a nursing home, and he is hypnotised by the crooked Doctor Conrad into understanding only his voice, which Marty has to imitate."

Bagboy - Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)
"Fantastic series, one of my favourites when I was a kid. Loved the theme the most, really excellent tune. Got me into ghost books/sleepless nights!"

Lynne - A very enjoyable video
"I have always enjoyed Randall and Hopkirk. I think Kenneth Cope is smashing as Hopkirk and Mike Pratt makes a very good investigator. I think they both compliment each other. I would recommend this video to anyone."

Skeeter V. - Classic TV that (almost) never dies!
"In my opinion, this is one of the best shows of the 60's and it's about time it was put on video. If you've never seen it before, buy it!"

Australian Viewer - This show has a ghost of a chance
"If you're sick of The Avengers, are bored by The Persuaders and want to tell The Saint to go to heck, try this show! Mike Pratt is brilliant as Randall, the detective who always looks like he's been up all night, and Kenneth Cope plays Hopkirk, who is the comic relief as the detective with one defective - he's a ghost."

Andy - Randall and Hopkirk a partnership that is heaven sent
"Mike Pratt and Kenneth Cope work brilliantly together as Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk and watching this with the excellent quality of the dvd format brings a whole new life to this series."

R2Driver - Detectives ain't what they used to be!
"This original (for its time) format cannot fail to entertain, as Jeff Randall (Mike Pratt), the gumshoe that looks like he has a permanent hangover, is joined by his dearly departed ex-colleague Marty Hopkirk, who helps him solve a series of quirky, sixties-esque mysteries. Pratt and Cope compliment each other perfectly with, Pratt's dead-pan/sarcastic dialogue countered by Cope's childlike jokes and want for attention. This really is a refreshing change from the run of the mill detective shows from the 60's to present day and is highly recommended.

Lesley H. - Excellent
"I had forgotten how brilliant the original version of this TV show really was! Thoroughly enjoyable and I plan to collect the full set. I know that I will watch these time and time again. A classic."

UK viewer - Very entertaining
"Randall & Hopkirk is very entertaining because as well as the serious drama content, some comedy has also been brought into it which works very well. Episode 2 which was partly written by Mike Pratt, is the best episode of the whole series although I enjoyed all 26 episodes."

Piaseczno - The original and best
"Gritty... The three actors work wonderfully well together and the double act of the titular characters is as pleasantly grating, as Jeannie is pleasing to the eye. It's gritty because so many of the cases the get involved with are pretty humdrum affairs with their fair share of base criminals and ineffectual shysters."

Nigel - Classic 1960s British TV!
"Another excellent series from the Lou Grade stable... this is a typical gem from that golden age of UK television where programmes of a consistently high standard were made... Good entertainment & plenty of nostalgia for those like me who long to return to that sixties sense of sunny optimism that disappeared so soon in the 1970s. Recommended!"

Kim N - Review
"The elementary effects and the nice underplaying of the leads have a certain period charm, and the show could afford a high calibre of special guest villains and dolly birds."

Memotopete - Review
"Classic... It was a very original show during its time. I also enjoyed watching the acting of Mike Pratt and Kenneth Cope.
